Fiscal Association - IFA in Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with PwC Bosnia and Herzegovina held a workshop on registration and taxation of business units of foreign legal persons in Bosnia and Herzegovina on 19th April 2018 in Unitic Business Center, Sarajevo.

The workshop discussed legal and tax management of the business units of foreign companies and was attended by representatives of foreign companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, tax admininistration, ministry of finance, consulting firms and lawyers.

As part of IFA Travelling Lectureship Programme (TLP), Fiscal Association in Bosnia and Herzegovina hosted a Comprehensive Seminar on the Implementation of the Multilateral Convention (MLI) and other BEPS related issues on 21st June 2017 at Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST).

Opening remarks were made by Ms Azra Bećirović, President of the Fiscal Association in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Prof. Bertil Wiman, member of IFA’s Executive Committee and upcoming Vice-President. Prof. Wiman shortly introduced IFA and the Annual Congresses.

A prominent international expert in tax law and President of IFA Branch in Italy, Prof. Guglielmo Maisto, delivered a lecture on BEPS and MLI, including an overview of Bosnia and Herzegovina tax treaties vs. BEPS and the section on beneficial ownership, followed by a lively discussion with participants.

The Seminar was the first event under IFA Travelling Lectureship Programme, held in nine locations in Europe.
